A) Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation)

The Surya Namaskar or Sun Salutation helps to detoxify your body. This weight loss, yoga is very effective in the morning, after many hours of lack of movement, during sleep.
The benefits of doing Surya Namaskar, helps in toning up the internal abdominal organs by alternative stretching and compression cycles, that helps in better bowel movement and digestion.

Steps for Surya Namaskar

1. Pranamasana

Pranamasana
Stand straight and erect in such a way that your face is in the direction of the sun. Make sure both the feet are touching each other. Next, bring your hands close to your chest by touching palm to palm, generally called a Namaskar or Salutation.

2. Hastauttanasana

Take a deep breath and raise your hand in upward direction.

3. Padahastasana

Bend forward, by breathing out slowly. The position of your hands, should be in line with your feet and head touching your knees.

4. Ashwa Sanchalanasana

Inhale slowly and extend the right leg back and drop the knee to the ground. Bend the left knee. Make sure the hands should be firm with the ground.

5. Parvatasana

Exhale and bring the right leg back to join the left leg. Lift your buttocks upwards forming triangle.

6. Ashtanga Namaskar

Ashtanga-Namaskar
Exhale until your knees, chest, feet and forehead touches the ground. Hold your breath.

7. Bhujangasana

Raise your head in an upward direction, on inhaling and bend in backward direction as much you can.

8. Parvatasana

Now exhale slowly and make an upward arc.

9.Ashwa Sanchalanasana

Extend the right leg back and drop the knee to the ground, by inhaling slowly. Bend the left knee and hands should be firm with the ground.

10. Padahastasana

Now breathe out slowly and bend forward. Hands should be in line with your feet and head touching your knees.

11. Hastauttanasana

Take a deep breath and raise your hand in upward direction.

12. Pranamasana

Repeat Step 1 again. You are done with the last step of your Surya Namaskar.

B) Kapalbhati Pranayama

Steps for Kapalbhati Pranayama

1.Sit on the flat floor and fold your legs. Close your eyes and keep the spine straight.
2.Keep the right palm on right knee and the left palm on left knee.
3.Now take a deep breath and exhale with all your force, so your stomach will go deep inside.
4.Make sure you do not stress on inhaling. Inhaling should be automatically done after every exhaling.
5.Repeat these steps for about five minutes and take a break. Later, you can increase the time for 15 – 30 minutes.
Do not practice this yoga asana fast, and should be done with a medium speed!

C) Ardha Halasana (Half Plough Pose)

Steps for Ardha Halasana (Half Plough Pose)

1.Raise your one leg or both legs at a time, perpendicular to the ground.
2.Just relax for a few seconds, then inhale slowly to raise your both legs upwards
3.Your legs should be perpendicular to the ground and should not bend.
4.Hold your breath and the posture for a few seconds.
5.Now exhale slowly and bring your legs again towards the ground.
6.Repeat this yoga asana for 3 – 4 cycles.
Practice this yoga asana by completing one cycle by left leg , then the right leg!

D) Halasana (Plough Pose)

Another one of the best yoga asanas for weight loss and stimulating reproductive organs. In this yoga position, body shows the shape of the Plough. Doing this asana, strengthens the back muscles, and also gives flexibility to the spine.

Steps for Halasana

1.Lie on your back. Join the legs together. Relax the whole body, touching the ground.
2.Keep the palm flat on the ground, and breathe normally.
3.Press the palm on the ground, while exhaling and raise both the legs upwards straight. Then try to touch the ground just behind.
4.Breathe slowly and hold the posture for several minutes, generally about 1-2 minutes.
5.Now slowly release the pose to return to step 1.
6.Repeat this yoga asana for 3-5 times.

E) Bhunagasana (Cobra Pose)

Advantages of doing this yoga asana, brings flexibility in upper and middle back, and is also effective in weight loss. It is also an excellent exercise for those suffering from spinal cord problem, stomach disorder, obesity, back pain and also  respiratory disorders.

Steps for Bhujangasana (Cobra pose)

1.Lie down on your stomach and feel relaxed
2.Stretch and joint the legs, so that knees of both the legs touches each other.
3.Place the palm near the chest facing the ground. Make sure that the elbow should be straight.
4.Lift your upper body like head, neck, shoulders, chest upwards, by taking a deep breath. In this position, all your upper body weight will come on your thighs and hands.
5.Inhaling and exhaling plays a vital role, in Bhujangasana.
6.Now try to move your head back as much as you can, and stretch as much as you can. Do not over strain.
7.Hold your breath for some time in this position.
8.Now exhale slowly and bring your stomach, chest, shoulder and head to the ground.
9.Repeat this yoga asana for 4-5 cycles daily.
